Problems with Moben: Very pushy sales The price you agree too isn't the price you pay - initial sales visit underestimates horribly! Wrong parts delivered leading to delays Fitting service wasn't great - leaky pipes and some damage to cupboard sides that the fitter put some polish in to hide it. Moben supplied appliences ... Dont go with Moben!!! you do so at your peril. Dont part with any money and if you do just a small deposit. I would advise to go with finance option at least you have some protection under British consumer law any problems that can not be solved locally pass it on, you will get no joy from customer care or the project manager ... Fed Up, from Northwood. We recently purchased a Moben kitchen, at a total cost of £23k. Up until the installation, things progressed reasonably well, then it all went pear shaped (coincidentally at that point, they have taken all your money!) Tip: never use a company that want all the money up front - there's always a reason for this. Reading ... Read the complete review

We had a Moben kitchen 7 years ago and about 2 years ago the door skins all started coming off. Luckily there is a law that covers this as if the quality of the parts supplied are not up to scratch the supplier has to replace them - contact Trading standards for relevant details. Hence we got a whole set of replacement doors. However, these ... Read the complete review

Dooyoo have been very good in pointing me in the right direction on a number of purchases but none more than the kitchen that we have just bought. Being a massive commitment to us financially we needed to make the right choice and Dooyoo helped us do that. We looked at our local companies and came across Intoto which were very good but very ... Having been impressed by the showroom presentation and having some confidence in the name of the company we invited the designer/salesman to do the design of our kitchen. Big mistake! We were promised solid wood doors in beech, as we specified that we found any veneer or laminates unacceptable and were a position to pay for the better quality that ... Read the complete review

Is there anybody out there who is satisfied with their Moben kitchen? If so, I am amazed. We had a disastrous time when our was installed about 4 years ago, ending with us on the verge of taking them to court. Little did we know that worse was to come. We had a slow leak from a pipe installed by Moben, behind the back-panel of the kitchen sink ... Read the complete review

I really dont believe these negative reviews!! After both my parents and my brother had a moben kitchen i had no problems going with them as well. All of us have had a proffessional and quality jobs done. The best thing for me was the constant communication and th fact that ,as promised, the price we paid was the price we were quoted. The designer (Paul something) did a lovely design for us, but he missed of something but the surveyor picked this up and sorted it after getting in touch with the design office. I really can`t fault them and I have met others since who have only had good things to say. I really thing that these bad comments are ex employees or rival companies. These review sites are good but how can you tell if what the people say is true.

I was really pleased with my Moben experience. Any questions or problems I had were sorted out immediately by the manager who was just a phone call away. Staff were mostly friendly and helpful on the phone and the fitter, Ian MacDonald was very hardworking and did a very professional job. The work was all completed to my satisfaction in less that 2 weeks. I would definitely recommend Moben kitchens.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! Moben have the most appalling customer service I have ever come across. I have been waiting months for a refund on a cooker hood that we didn't take and am constantly being told by their customer service that they are awaiting their accounts department to issue the cheque and that they are only contactable by email. So even internally they have no phone contact between departments.....how ridiculous is that. I'm always being promised that I will be called back to give an update.........this never happens and I've now probablt spent the refund in phone calls to their customer service department.
Moben pride themselves on quality....but this is absolute rubbish the worktop that we brought is already scratched in many places....and as mentioned the customer service is appalling..............not what you expect from £10K worth of kitchen.

when the salesman arrived (the second time) there was a number of things we asked for that was agreed at the time. "yes we can do that because we are not the average b&q, we are one of the best kitchen companys around, our quality and standards are the best" lets see! 1: we asked for solid carcus to our units that didnt have ... I agree with other members this is the worst company to deal with, once they have had the money any problems are difficult to deal with. My kitchen was fitted on 22nd june 09, the cooker gets so hot you can not touch it, they replaced the first one so i thought they were playing game, now the second has exactly the same problem, they sent independent engineer from rangemaster who said it was dangerous and not to use it, moben called me and told me the engineer said it was fine and they would not be replacing or giving me my money back as we signed the agreement when we first ordered the kitchen.
So they have just this week to sort it as i have contacted watchdog and trade in standards.
I would just like to add the kitchen fitter was great no complaints!
DONT USE THEM

worst company i have ever had the misfortune to employ, i paid nearly £14,000 for a fall apart kitchen, i paid the deposit before looking at the reviews, just try to cancell, no chance in a million, the hob cracked within a week of being fitted mobens response is to claim off your household insurance, the pull out larder door has dropped forward ... My Moben kitchen has been in for a few years now but I still get distressed over the experience. It took them 51 weeks to finish installing it. Customer service appalling. Biggest disappointment is the £1,500 Tecnik stainless steel range cooker - it had been in 2 yrs when two of the inner glass oven door panels exploded inexplicably. Whilst I was waiting for the engineer the element went in the fan oven, I had it replaced but it's gone again. Now I've only half the grill working. I refuse to have it fixed as they're not standard parts, you have to use a Moben subsiduary to get it fixed. I could have bought a decent one for £500, first chance I get it's going to the tip. So, if you must use Moben DO NOT buy their appliances!

We have just had a kitchen fitted by Belgam kitchens after a close shave with Moben. We almost put pen to paper but after reading the reviews on Dooyoo decided to look at alternative companies. We found Belgam on this review site and read some encouraging stuff about their service. Their product was as good as Moben if not better and the price ... Read the complete review

My Moben Kitchen installation has just been finished. I had read the most awful reviews, and almost didn't use the company. But, the installation is excellent!! Recently had a Moben kitchen installed and now wish I'd read the reviews first as I am having similar problems to other customers. The kitchen and the fitters turned up on time and I let these "master fitters" get on with the job which they finished within the week. It was only then, after I started to check the work, that I realised ... Read the complete review

We are currently paying very dearly for a bad decision to buy from Moben. A £15k kitchen looks like we installed it ourselves. The fitter had only a week in which to complete, he not only rushed the job but left some units unsafe. We had a number of 'gadgets' and pull-out larder units. One of these units was supposed to be secured with a total of 12 screws.....it almost fell out on top of me and when I checked, only 4 screws were fitted. At first glance, the kitchen looks okay but look closer and you'll find all sorts of problems, none of which are forgiveable given the extortionate price. We thought dream kitchen, more like a bloody nightmare. I so wsh I'd read these reviews!! I'm even more disheartened as its still ongoing!

We had a mixed experience. Showroom was friendly and booked the visit for us. The salesman was polite enough and never pushy, though still a disagreeable character. BUT after 2 hours he went through the totting up process, throwing in random discounts all over the place and still came up with a ridiculously high figure. Wouldn't let us see his itemised calculations. We'd had 2 quotes already and knew that high quality cabinets would come to around £12K but our mental arithmetic made the pre-discount price of this guys cabinets approx £40K! It was very clear this was pure random number generation so we politely showed him the door.
