I agree with other members this is the worst company to deal with, once they have had the money any problems are difficult to deal with. My kitchen was fitted on 22nd june 09, the cooker gets so hot you can not touch it, they replaced the first one so i thought they were playing game, now the second has exactly the same problem, they sent independent engineer from rangemaster who said it was dangerous and not to use it, moben called me and told me the engineer said it was fine and they would not be replacing or giving me my money back as we signed the agreement when we first ordered the kitchen. So they have just this week to sort it as i have contacted watchdog and trade in standards.I would just like to add the kitchen fitter was great no complaints!DONT USE THEM

worst company i have ever had the misfortune to employ, i paid nearly £14,000 for a fall apart kitchen, i paid the deposit before looking at the reviews, just try to cancell, no chance in a million, the hob cracked within a week of being fitted mobens response is to claim off your household insurance, the pull out larder door has dropped ... My Moben kitchen has been in for a few years now but I still get distressed over the experience. It took them 51 weeks to finish installing it. Customer service appalling. Biggest disappointment is the £1,500 Tecnik stainless steel range cooker - it had been in 2 yrs when two of the inner glass oven door panels exploded inexplicably. Whilst I was waiting for the engineer the element went in the fan oven, I had it replaced but it's gone again. Now I've only half the grill working. I refuse to have it fixed as they're not standard parts, you have to use a Moben subsiduary to get it fixed. I could have bought a decent one for £500, first chance I get it's going to the tip. So, if you must use Moben DO NOT buy their appliances!

We have just had a kitchen fitted by Belgam kitchens after a close shave with Moben. We almost put pen to paper but after reading the reviews on Dooyoo decided to look at alternative companies. We found Belgam on this review site and read some encouraging stuff about their service. Their product was as good as Moben if not better and ... Read the complete review

My Moben Kitchen installation has just been finished. I had read the most awful reviews, and almost didn't use the company. But, the installation is excellent!! The customer service throughout our order has been exemplary. The delivery and the system to make sure every time was delivered was very efficient, and most of all, our fitters ... Recently had a Moben kitchen installed and now wish I'd read the reviews first as I am having similar problems to other customers. The kitchen and the fitters turned up on time and I let these "master fitters" get on with the job which they finished within the week. It was only then, after I started to check the work, that I ... We are currently paying very dearly for a bad decision to buy from Moben. A £15k kitchen looks like we installed it ourselves. The fitter had only a week in which to complete, he not only rushed the job but left some units unsafe. We had a number of 'gadgets' and pull-out larder units. One of these units was supposed to be secured with a total of 12 screws.....it almost fell out on top of me and when I checked, only 4 screws were fitted. At first glance, the kitchen looks okay but look closer and you'll find all sorts of problems, none of which are forgiveable given the extortionate price. We thought dream kitchen, more like a bloody nightmare. I so wsh I'd read these reviews!! I'm even more disheartened as its still ongoing!

We had a mixed experience. Showroom was friendly and booked the visit for us. The salesman was polite enough and never pushy, though still a disagreeable character. BUT after 2 hours he went through the totting up process, throwing in random discounts all over the place and still came up with a ridiculously high figure. Wouldn't let us see his itemised calculations. We'd had 2 quotes already and knew that high quality cabinets would come to around £12K but our mental arithmetic made the pre-discount price of this guys cabinets approx £40K! It was very clear this was pure random number generation so we politely showed him the door.

Our moben experience started with a visit to our local showroom as we have just had an extension built that doubled our floor space in the kitchen. Their showroom staff were very helpful and friendly and we booked an appointment for the next day. This is where things started to go wrong. The salesman who came was an hour late with no ... I ordered my kitchen then got scared having looked them up to quickly find their number and was appalled by some of the stories I read. Realized it was contractually too late to cancel at the stage we were at, so we sat tight. Everything was delivered and installed exactly as planned, follow up phone calls and quality & safety checks ... Read the complete review

we ordered a kitchen from moben, signed a contract and had a visit by a surveyor and a planned delivery and installation date. We were telephoned by moben afterwards to be told we had to pay an extra £3,500 as the salesman had underestimated the job involved otherwise we can cancel our order and receive a refund! We cancelled our order and 4 weeks later are still awaiting our moben refund. We also paid moben a seperate deposit to have a granite worktop. Upon cancelling the said we have to organise that refund even though they took payment for it. Luckily the granite company sent the cheque within 1 week of contacting them, no thanks to moben, but moben are still to pay! They are the worst company with regards customer service and basic telephone manners.

We went a ahead we went ahead but the promised date was put back because the didn't have all of the stock (Company policy not to start until all part are delivered) When they did start they left half the kitchen at the warehouse - but apparentley thats ok! Doors were warped, Fan makes a noise in th lounge as fitted badly. Not impressed at all.

After reading all the reviews, there were a few good ones so we decided to give them a chance and booked an appointment, all ready and prepared for hard selling and the slating of other companies, but with an open mind. They didn't turn up. Their loss. I won't be re-arranging it.

Worst company I ever had the misfortune to employ. 6 months after they should have finished we were still having workman back to fix the faults. Badly fitted and a total lack of care for the customer. Eventually offered us £50 compensation, which paid for 2 of my days waiting for workman to turn up. Like others have said they use sub-contractors although they sell the service as being all their own cowboys, I mean workman.

just had moben kitchen fitted with no problems whatsoever ,from day one we have been kept informed of what was happening and everything went like clockwork , we had read some of the reports on this web site and were concerned as to if we had done the right thing ,but we have been more than pleased with the outcome ,from the designer surveyor delivery drivers and not least the fitter all were supberb and proffessional .we did look at other companys but when we looked at the overall price moben came out at far the best value and provided us with all the little extras we needed .it is stressful having a fitted kitchen but as we found out moben took the worry away ,my advice give them a go .

Having had mobe around for their"no obligation" quotation we felt very pressured into making a decision there and then.
