Nice curtains for baby boy or girl

I bought these curtains around a year ago now, when I was pregnant, doing up my son's nursery. They were part of the A B C range in Next and I got lots of matching accessories, like wall canvases and light shades. There are also duvets sets and changing mats in the same range, so you can do the whole room matching. I paid about £40 for these curtains, and they come in a few different sizes, and are all priced according to size.

These curtains are to go with a neutral coloured nursery, as they are mostly a neutral beige colour. My nursery is a baby green and blue, and these curtains have a striped blue and green top, and the colours go so well. The neutral beige would go with any room colour. The beige part has white stars all over it with look really cute.

These are blackout blinds, but my son doesn't sleep in this room at night yet, however I have been in there in the night to change him, and the room is pitch black. This will be really handy I think when he does go into his own room as he is a light sleeper, so I am glad they are black out curtains.

When we are in his bedroom playing with his toys during the day and the sun is shining on the front of the house we often have to shut the curtains whilst we are in there, and they block out the sun brilliantly.

I wouldn't say these curtains are brilliant quality, but they are not expensive, they are very thin and I am surprised they block out the sun as well as they do due to how thin they are. The curtains are quite long they are about the length of the top of the skirting board in my son's room, and the shorter size was way too short. It would have been nice to have a length in-between.

The curtains loop over your curtain pole, and are really easy to put up, so you don't need to fiddle about with hooks. They also come with tie backs with cute teddies on, which feel really cheap quality, the material doesn't feel as nice as the curtains, although the design is nice and cute, we didn't use these.

I would recommend these curtains from Next, they do many different designs and have a whole range of bedroom accessories to buy in the same range, and they are so cute! I love these curtains, and they can be for a boy or a girl, they look so nice in my son's room, and people comment saying how lovely they are. If you are looking for nursery accessories, definitely have a look in Next, they do some gorgeous stuff!
