If your like us and have a small bedroom and a child with big ideas you will find there is not enough space. No room to play or have friends round to stop.

The solution for us was a Sofa Bunk Bed by Orlando from Do It All, The DIY chain. It has a single bunk on top and a sofa below that easily converts to a larger bunk big enough for two. It only takes one pull or push to change from one to the other. So now they can sit to watch T.V and stay the night as well. The bed comes with two hard wearing Futon mattresses with zipped washable covers.

The Sofa/ Bunk comes as a flat pack for self assembly. Oh no, Don't you just love them. You may need a large car or van to pick them up yourself. Although the instructions do not go into much detail only 4 pictures, The assembly went together quite easy. The final assembly is larger than I thought but still safes space, It is very sturdy and safe, and the kids love it. Something to climb over. The coated metal frame work is not cold and clinical looking as you may think. It all looks pretty stylish.

The instructions warn about letting young kids under the age of six from using the top bunk in case they fall.

I also noticed that the frame work could be used to hang toys or clothes saving more space. There is some room under the lower bunk as well. One problem we might have is now our friends know we have a spare bunk they might want to come and stop more often. ( Only Joking T) :o)
