Next day cancellation plumbs charge £50 cancel fee, dont return calls, never hear from salesman. (Plumbs Furniture Covers)

My friend had a rep around and ended up giving £90 cheque as a down payment. The next day she decided the £180 for just cusion covers was too much and range plumbs to cancel. They gave her the number for the salesman and said they could do nothing and that she would have to contact him. She rang and left a message for the saleman. After two days and no reply she range and left another message. The next day she rang plumbs again, they said not to worry as they hadnt started making anything.

To cut a long story short after 3 weeks of phone calls and never hearing from the salesman my friend got a cheque minus £50 cancellation fee!!! She rang them and they said they had started to make it and had to charge a fee! Despite complaints they do not seem willing to return any calls.

Make sure you really want the item before writing cheques to this company.

Summary: Dont order from these people until you are absolutely sure, cancelling seems to give them £50
