I thought about plumbs covers after getting an old suite from family that fitted our room perfectly but wasnt my taste in fabric. I booked a consultation, then read this review page and panicked at the bad reviews! I decided to go ahead and see what the consultant could suggest..... Ray arrived on time, very polite and friendly. He showed me the options,and was very honest about what was achievable with covers as the suite is a fixed back style. I didnt like the look that would be achieved, and reupholstery was too costly, bearing in mind the suite held no sentimental value to me! I was put under no pressure and was impressed with Rays honesty, after reading the previous reviews I half expected to be railroaded into something I would be ultimately disappointed with. He suggested we may be better if we still wanted a new look to compare new suite prices with a second hand suite with new covers. This is something I plan to do, and I will definately go through Ray if we go for this option. I was very happy with the service Ray gave, well impressed at the knowledgable and honest answers he gave to my questions. I would say ask for a consultation if you are considering it, I assume all the consultants are as proffesional, or maybe we got a good one - but the visit and quote are free so you've nothing to lose. In summary, I didnt order covers, was under no pressure to and would definately use the service again in the future. Thanks Ray for restoring my faith in salesmen and Plumbs!!
