      A really good tv stand that is a bargain

      Recently I reviewed my new tv set which I am more than impressed with, at the same time as buying this new tv set I also bought a tv stand, both from amazon. I wanted a stand that was modern, would look good and be sturdy enough to hold my new tv.

      I came across this one on Amazon, the Premier AV HF0032 Plasma and LCD glass stand for TV's up to 37" or 40kgs with cable management in black. Perfect!

      I paid just under £40 for this stand on Amazon, which is a lot cheaper than the majority of black glass stands you can buy these days. I could see just from the picture it was exactly what I wanted and needed, a black, sheek, 3 tier tv stand that would complement my living room well!
      The stand is explained briefly on amazon, the parts I concentrated were these points;

      *Polished rounded black, toughened safety glass - So I knew it would look good and if it was toughened it should me it is sturdy enough to hold my tele right?

      *Top shelf 8mm, Middle shelf 6mm, Bottom shelf 6mm - Measurements mean nothing to me really but these could to somebody who are interested.

      *Length 800mm, Height 480mm, Width 450mm - As above

      *Cable management board in the back - I hate the loose wiring business at the back of tv's, steroes etc, they become tangled and confusing this cable management features helps prevent this and tidy things up.

      *Holds upto 37" or 40kgs - The TV I was buying was a 32inch TV so I knew this stand would be suitable!

      The stand comes packaged securely in a cardboard box, which by the way is VERY heavy so you will need more than one person to carry it where it needs to go if you don't want to put too much strain on your back. Inside the box you should find;

      *TV Stand - In pieces of course!
      *Assembly instruction
      *Product safety information card
      *Screws, spacers, nuts & etc that are necessary for assembly

      Firstly the instructions do advise that this is put together by 2 people but as I live on my own with two 2 year olds I was too impatient to wait for a family friend to arrive and got on with it myself, although I could see why 2 people are actually advised.

      Putting it together was actually very straightforward, common sense in fact when you look at a picture of the stand itself, however the glass pieces are very weighty and can be a little awkward - which I'm assuming is why we are advised to put it together with somebody else to make it easier and to stop you from breaking the glass and dropping it which I could've quite easily done whilst putting it together on my own! The instructions are minimal, by this I mean there is NO writing, it is literally photos set out in order which was a little confusing at first but I soon got the jist of it and was well on my way to creating my sturdy glass tv stand. As the instructions are just 'diagrams' it can be quite easy to confuse the direction of your glass shelves etc meaning you may find yourself putting it together slightly and having to take it apart again to correct it which is what I found myself doing a few times which was a little annoying.

      The black colouring to it looks smart, sleek and very modern in my living room. Only one bad point to it and that's it attracts dust almost immediately and shows it off hell of alot too so keep your duster handy.

      If you fancy changing your room around it is a little awkward to move around meaning you will need somebody to help you to refrain from knocking off the little caps on the base of the stand and also to stop you from ruining your flooring or carpet.

      It is just the 'right' size stand in my opinion also, not too big or bulky, just a perfectly snug fit in my living room.

      The cable management feature at the back really does work, ensuring all my wires are kept organised and in their correct places preventing them from becoming tangled, a danger and looking messy!

      It is extremely sturdy and looks very stylish too for the price I think it is a brilliant product. My only gripe with this product, literally, is the poor instructions, there was no 'guide' as such to help me along I literally had to read the diagrams which proved difficult now and then when I had my shelves the wrong way around, Grrr apart from this in my eyes it has been a real bargain.
