Advantages: great idea and concept, great gift idea.

Disadvantages: size too small!!

Ridibundus smiley cushions are small 13.5 cm in diameter cushions, in different colours and represent different smileys, such as :-), :-D and :-P

~~~DESIGN AND VARIETY~~~
These are really nicely designed. I fell in love with these the moment i saw them, and they are really funky and stylish. As they are emoticons, they are slightly geeky but the colour make them very unique and modern... really stylish!

The first thing you notice is the size, and they are actually rather small, but they DO come in a set of 6 which is nice, and in very nice designs. Each smiley has a different colour, and you get 6 different emotions, which is really nice.

They are furry and soft, VERY soft, and you can't help but keep stroking them and feeling the material! I feel like Lennie from Of Mice and Men!

NOTE: There are also Asian Ridibundus cushions in a set of six, with smilies such as: *_*, ^_^, O.o, '-.- and @.@

~~~USABILITY~~~
Because of the size, the usability of the cushions are reduced. They are too small to be used to sit on, or hug whilst watching a film. They are more like decorations or cuddly toys, and you could have them sitting on your desk, smiling at you, or frowning at you. You could even put them out in accordance to your own emotions to let everyone else know how you're feeling! It really brightens up the desk, although it does collect dust if left for a long time!

They are also good for gifts, if a certain emotion reminds you of a friend or so on!

~~~OVERALL~~~
The design is amazing, and i think it is a really good idea, but they need to come in a range of sizes, as 13.5cm diameter is very small, but they act as good decorations. It would be nice if they were large enough to be hugged or sat on!

However, these do come with a pretty steep price tag around 22 Euros and 30 US dollars... i am unsure if they can be purchased in UK as of yet!

Summary: a good idea needing a little evaluation!
