Memory foam is a type of foam that moulds to the body following the natural contours. This allows your body to relax and it helps the blood flow easily through your viens as there are no pressure points to restrict the flow. As a result of this you tend not to toss and turn so much during the night giving you a more resful nights sleep. This foam was discovered by Nasa and they still use it for their astronaughts. This has to be the best purchase I've ever made. I always suffered from a bad back and found sleeping awkward due to struggling to get comfortable. All that changed the minute I put this seemingly unimpressive piece of foam on top of my mattress. I woke up the next day having not woken up once during the night, hurray! The more I used it the easier my back pain became. Obviously as the day goes on the pain re-emerges however I now look forward to going to sleep instead of being anxious over whether I'd sleep or be tossing and turning all night.
