Disadvantages: Size, delivery and installation problems

I took delivery of my brand new leather chesterfield last month. Unfortunately I had failed to think through the logistics of transporting this icon of home furnishing into my 4th floor apartment in Dudley. As luck would have it my neighbour arrived, just as I was drawing up an ambitious plan involving pulleys and a rope formed out of a selection of my poorer comedy ties. My neighbour is Ivor the Indestructible, a fire eater from the famous black country circus "Bostin' Big Top". Within 20 minutes he had gathered a collection of his colleagues. This cornucopia of clowns and entertainment colossus' quickly threw themselves into the task at hand. With big Ivor at the base and Marty the Midget perched on the top like a cherry on this cake of absurdity, I felt in no time I'd be reclining in comfort. Sadly this was not to be, Trevor the Tearful Clown failed to negotiate a raised grate with his enormous shoes and my ill-fated samaritans crashed onto the ring road like a particularly colourful house of cards. Three poor souls went to the big top in the sky on that cursed day, the rest escaped with minor injuries. A wise person once told me, it's all right having a laugh and a joke but you should only take it sofa.

Summary: An integral item of home furnishing but to be tackled with caution
