This is the worst company I have ever used. I spent £7,500 on new kitchen doors, worktops and appliances. The outcome was:

1. A fitter who was unhelpful and rude (eg. 'I don't have to listen to your bullsh*t' and throwing tools around)
2. A string of incorrect deliveries
3. A hob which fused all the electrics in the house and they insisted that it was my fault. It had a faulty thermostat. They told me to call in an electrician and they would reimburse me.
4. Cupboard cornicing in the wrong colour + 2 x blemished doors. One month later I am still waiting for these to be replaced.
5. A missing sink basket which was re-ordered one month ago and they said it would be posted to me. It has not arrived.

I have spoken to the managing director, Alan Pullinger. He offered me £100 reduction on my bill for the upset caused by the fitter's insults and threatening behaviour. This is 1.3% of my expenditure with them.
The hob was replaced 12 days after the fault occured. I was unable to cook for this period.
The electrician's bill (£70) has not been reimbursed.
I am still waiting for the fitter to arrive. Every time I call I'm told they will call me back. They don't.
I have tried to get receipts for the work and the appliances. They will not send them.

I have since discovered that this company filed for bankruptcy in 2003 and customers lost money. This must be why they now call themselves The NEW Kitchen restoration Company.

DO NOT EVEN CONSIDER USING THIS COMPANY UNLESS YOU ENJOY APPALLING SERVICE AND MAXIMUM HASSLE.

Sounds like a nightmare!

Sor ry for the low rating, but I feel you needed to include more information about the company in your review. While it was well written with lots of 'gripes', I think you needed to take a more unbiased approach with perhaps a piece on the end of your review about the appalling service you received.
