Accepted a quote from the company for new doors and worktops. On reflection felt the quote was expensive so cancelled contract as instructed. Received a call fron the company and re negotiated a more realistic figure. Kitchen re fitted yesterday. Product very good and workmanship excellent with much attention to detail and a finished job well above expectations. Would not hesitate to recommend, but don't accept the first price you are given. Be prepared to negotiate!

I had some unplesant dealings with this company back in 2007 in September. I had contacted them when if I am right when they were called 'Kitchen Magic' I had arranged my second appointment with them because they missed the first one. A very pleasant looking young woman came to explain the in's and out's of what they were all about, then came ... Read the complete review

Well they turned up today and sorted it out and we are very pleased with the kitchen, so a threat of action via a solicitor and court seem to work

KITCHEN RESTORATION /KITCHEN MAGIC
After our stressful dealings with this company a few tips:
a) Don't use them.
b) If you have ordered do not pay the last payment until all doors, hinges, handles, etc. have been fitted to your complete satisfaction.
c) If you don't get promised returned phone calls, try Alan Pullinger's mobile-07831762946, you'll probably get shouted at and have the phone slammed down on you , but it does annoy him.
d) Still no satisfaction, go to creditsafe.com to get all company details plus names and home addresses of all directors.
The rudeness of Chris Davis and Alan Pullinger and all the lies we were told were unbelieveable. Customer Service is non-existant in this company.

From satisfied customers (at present), Exmouth.
We have just had a facelift to our kitchen--new doors and new drawer facings as selected by us--carried out by The Kitchen Restoration Company.
Everything was done as agreed. The salesman and the surveyor both turned up as agreed and on time. The fitter arrived early! We found him (Darren Tidmarsh) to be very polite and well mannered; he even explained what he was doing and even suggested one or two minor adjustments he could make to enhance the finished job.
When the job was completed he gave us ample time to examine the whole thing to see if we were satisfied. We were, and only then did we pay the balance.
To cap it all the work was completed a week ahead of schedule!
Many thanks to you all.

When I phoned Mr Alan Pullinger to explain that my elderly mother had second thoughts and wished to cancel her arrangement with this company, I was astonished to be told by him that her decision had been influenced by me in an effort to protect my 'inheritance'. He even implied that I had frightened her into changing her mind as I did not want her to spend the money. It was only after I revealed that I am a freelance journalist that Mr Pullinger conceded that as my mother had not paid a deposit, there was in fact no binding contract with his company. After reading other people's comments, I realise we have had a very narrow escape.

Kitchen Restoration, or Kitchen Magic as I believe they are also known, are a bunch of cowboys, who are extremely quick to take your money, and have zero customer service.
They will not return calls, they fail to attend appointments and have let us down on around 4 occasions in particularly a Chris Davies.
Avoid like the plague and go to a reputable company, or expect to be hugely disappointed.

So very helpful and quick - until you've paid!! Then watch out for the delays to replace faulty items, the non-appearance of the fitter to do so and the untruths when you phone them. They will make appointments for weeks hence, which delays finishing your kitchen. They play on this leaving you the choice of a messy unfinished kitchen or waiting on ... Read the complete review

Once a person is invited into your home and you agree a contract there is no going back or 'cooling off period'.Which is a shame if you are dealing with the kitchen restoration company who will provide poor quality doors and not care a jot about your interests once they have your money. Avoid at all costs. Really it proabably is better to loose ... Read the complete review

We ordered a kitchen but when they came to fit it it was not the one I had originally ordered. The MD told me the rep should not have sold me that particular design and tried to persuade me to keep it. It was cheap and shody and I wouldn't have kept it if they had given it to me for free. They then offered me another design but only offered me ... Read the complete review

This is a company to avoid. They are marketing and sales driven with hopeless service. Work on our kitchen in April 2006 cost £7700 (50% payable with order, the balance with the fitter standing over me for payment and a satisfaction signature). Subsequently a series of defects showed up - work surfaces to wrong length, chipped and lifting, wrongly ... Read the complete review

I paid nearly £3500 to the New Kitchen Restoration Company for work undertaken between March and April 2004 to replace all our kitchen doors and drawer fronts, replace a corner unit and all worktops with durable and attractive new ones. The salesman confirmed that I was buying good-quality facades and units. To my surprise the company sent round ... Read the complete review

This is the worst company I have ever used. I spent £7,500 on new kitchen doors, worktops and appliances. The outcome was: 1. A fitter who was unhelpful and rude (eg. 'I don't have to listen to your bullsh*t' and throwing tools around) 2. A string of incorrect deliveries 3. A hob which fused all the electrics in the house ... Read the complete review
