Advantages: Works okay for a year

Disadvantages: substandard build

I first bought a Triton electric shower three years ago,it was fine until two weeks after the guarantee ran out.

It then started to have the annoying habit of covering you in icy cold water as soon as you were covered in soap.

This is not a dramatic problem in the summer heat but on colder days at 6am it can be a rude awakening.

Foolishly I purchased a new Triton shower last year a few days ago it developed the same problem.

This time it was still covered by the gaurantee.No problem I thought a quick ring to the help line and an engineer was sent to deal with the repair.

He wasnt sure what was causing the problem so he replaced a few parts but in the process managed to break the main electrical safety cutout switch/this prevented him from testing the repair/fortunately it now works ok but at the expense of a new switch which i paid for myself.

Since talking to friends i found a number of people who have had a lot of problems with Triton showers i only wish i had known this before i spent my hard earned cash.
