I have read that wind chimes are good for keeping chi moving...don't ask me to explain what chi is but it should keep moving...and for warding off badness.

Windchimes should be placed near the front door, especially if your house faces another house. If your oven faces your back door, place windchimes between them. If you hang up windchimes in the west corner of your house the head of the household will have good fortune.

In fact, if in doubt, put up a windchime, that's my philosophy!

They can vary up here in Scotland from £1.99 - £65 but I have bought some really lovely sets for £3.99.

When you seek to buy you must make sure the chimes are hollow tubes and not solide metal.

It has become a ritual now that whenever any of us walk past one of our windchimes we touch it, there is such a lovely sound.
