Advantages: Very relaxing sound
Disadvantages: Make a lot of noise when it's windy.
Collecting Wind Chimes is another one of my hobbies. I have loads in my garden, which in winter never stops clanging; it must drive the neighbours insane. I have them inside the house too, I have them in my toilet, in the passage and I have quite a few in my bedroom. I was reading fluffy pups opinion and I noticed they said they paid about £10 for a wind chime. I never ever pay this much; I pay about £5 for an outside windchime, and about £2-£4 for an inside one. I get all mine from the seaside and bargain shops. Seaside shops are the best they have massive collections of chimes, most are really beautiful. My most beautiful one is a windchime made out of little multi coloured shells; it's really different. Don't forget you can make you own windchimes, you must have loads of old CD's lying about, from cover magazines etc. Just tie them together to make a chain, hang them, somewhere in your garden. They do look really nice in certain lights.

- 05/09/00 They use wind chimes in Feng Shui to overcome stagnant energy - apparently it cures having a toilet in your South West corner too... ;) |
