This is the 7th call I've had from Better Homes Proclad and each an every time I've asked them not to call again. I'm already TPS registered so I shouldn't have got the first call, let alone the 7th.Their persistent cold calls and incompetence about not removing my telephone number leads me to believe that they are likely to be incompetent in other areas.Perhaps their 'marketing' team needs to realise that cold calling people who shouldn't get their calls in the first place has the exact opposite effect: Poor ratings for this company.OFCOM now informed - I hope they are fined.
Previously I had asked betterhomes to fit new front and back doors + gutters. I researched reviews and noticed some bad points about them, nevertheless I still went through with my decision and glad I did as I got 100% commitment throughout the process. They do believe in high standards of work and it shows in the end product. Thanks to betterhomes I now have two beautiful doors + new gutters. It has also been near two years and I haven't had a fault or problem. - That's when you know a professional job has been done.
I am so glad that I didn't read these other reveiws before getting my windows done by Proclad.
My sister recommended them to me after being happy with her own guttering.
The sales woman was nice and knew all about what would look best for my budget. They weren't the cheapest but there really wasn't much difference between the prices of the 3 companies we got out.
It was all very well handled and everything I wanted was done on the dates I was told it would be done.
The fitters were nice cheery guys who tidied up the mess well and took it all away. The woman came back to make sure we were happy.
Then we paid and that was it. 6 weeks from start to finish and I love my new windows.
I am really pleased that I didn't see these reveiws or I may not have called Proclad.
Glad I did call them and would recommend them to anybody.
Am now considering a conservatory and I will be calling Pro again. I will get quotes from other companies first tho just to make sure I get a good price to go with the good service.
:) Just shows you how different experiences can be from one company.
This company is clearly desparate for business. They have phoned me 2 or 3 times over the last few weeks offering "guttering and facias". The first time I informed them that (a) I live in an apartment block (and so any guttering repairs would be organised collectively) and (b) that I am registered with the TPS and so they should not be making marketing calls to me. They apologised and said that they would remove me from their database.
Obviously this did not happen as they have just called again. I am pleased to lean from the other review that theyir senior managers read this :) They may wish to:
1. Provide some more training for their telemarketers (putting the phone down on people you are calling is not a great way of advertising you company; I was only trying to explain that it is illegal to telemarket to people on the TPS register...)
2. Do update your databases
3. Get a better telemarketing strategy (ie call people who actually have guttering for god's sake!)
4. Fix that other chap's guttering before it falls off!
