There delivery service is also second to none. We buy from them on a morning and they will deliver to the house we need the goods at. They always phone ahead if they are going to be late. and in general it is a pleasure to shop with them. From time to time we have had slight hic ups but one quick phone call and everything is resurected. The good thing about the phone lines i... more

Whilst I appreciate Jewson have great ranges and on some of the bulkier goods, such as sands, platerboard etc. can offer great value. However I run a family DIY store (in the family for 50 years) and have found on some products they are rediculously expensive, over 100% over our in-store prices. I have been trying to find out trade prices from them, especially on their smaller goods (fixtures & fittings etc.) but as they have numerous discounted (?) prices it is proving difficult. If anyone wants to help a small family business and could spare a trade invoice, or two (obviously with important personal detail blocked out it would be much appreciated and help save a number of local trades some hard earned cash!?

Jewson are a fantastic professional outfit. As our family business involves building and joinery we can use jewson wherever our job takes us in the country! We can get pretty much anything we need from them and if they dont have it they will certainly do there best to get it in for us. We mainly buy timber, bricks, sand off them but they also kit us out with other things such as gravel. I am refitting my entire bathroom and I bought my bath, sink, shower, toilet and taps from Jewsons. I don't think Jewsons is the first place people might think of to buy their bathroom from, but I would highly recommend them, in particular the one I used which was the Godalming one. Jewsons sell all the popular ranges, as of writing this they certainly sell Twyfords and Ideal Standard. The main reason we picked them was because I was looking for Bristan taps and they sell these too. While I was there I asked about the bathroom range I was considering and they happened to be even cheaper than the cheapest place I had found online. The ... Read the complete review

I have recently undertaken a new project, revamping the garden. I have been putting it off for a few months now, but I decided last week to crack on, I had an image of what I wanted the garden to look like and the first call of duty was a new fence. Now I should mention I work for a company called Weber who is owned by the same company who own Jewson, I will however try not to be biased. Jewson have hundreds of stores Nationwide mostly located in out of town areas. The reason I decided to choose Jewson was because of the group discount I receive, I did however research other DIY stores and the standard cost for fence panels, posts and bedding mortar all seemed ...
