.......My Range Recommendations.......
As you can see there is a huge range on offer, hence the name. I have used the range on a number of occasions, these are my experiences;
1. Christmas
At Christmas they stock a huge range of decorations from baubles to fully animated illuminated life size Santas for your garden! If you need decorations and don't want to spend a fortune this is the place for you. They arrange the decorations into themes and colours so it's easy to put a look together. Some of the decorations are good quality, some are a bit naff. You have to pick through it a bit.
I have shopped here at Christmas to put together stockings for the children in the family. There is such a great range of craft things and kids stuff it's really easy and inexpensive to do, and all under one roof.
2. Weddings!
No, they don't sell weddings, but hey do sell loads of things you can use to dress up your tables. I bought lovely glass centre pieces for my florist to use, they were just £2.50 each. The florist shops there all the time now. The staff were great as they had to order me some in from another store as they didn't have enough, really helpful. They weren't the best quality glass, but they were only needed for one day so what's the point in paying through the nose. You can also get all your card, ribbon etc if you are making your own invitations, menus or orders of service.
3. New Home
When I moved back to England from Australia I left everything behind and had to start from scratch. I bought a lot of bits and pieces from The Range, kitchen equipment, bed linen, cushions, pictures. It's great because you can get all your basics under one roof, including things for the garden if you need them.
Conclusion
The Range is really good value and very convenient. It has some items that are good quality, and some not so good. You have to go and see for yourself. It's kitchen equipment is all branded and excellent quality, but I think it's furniture is somewhat cheap and a bit tacky. The rest falls somewhere in between with some good and some bad. Nothing is over priced and there are some real bargains to be had.
p.s. There is a coffee shop selling drinks, cakes and sandwiches!..Is there no end to this place!
Summary: Put aside at least 3 hours for a trip!
