Disadvantages: terrible customer service and shoddy goods
we bought a sofa from The Range Doncaster in November 2010 in December 2011 one of the springs broke they came to mend it on the 20 December 2011, on Christmas morning sitting on the opposite side of the sofa another spring had broken, off we went again to complain only to be told that we had to prove it wasn't our fault, we has to give them a cheque of £30 that wouldn't be cashed if it was a manufactorers fault. It was proven its a manufactorers fault more than one spring has broken now. They want to repair it again and I have lost confidence in the sofa and want a replacement to be told from head office if we do not accept the repair then there is nothing they can do for us. So reluctantly I have to accept. My advice is
DO NOT BUY FURNITURE FROM THE RANGE go to a reputable furniture company I wish we had
Their customer service leaves a lot to be desired too from Head Office
