British Gas HomeCare:
... ve held a Homecare200 agreement for 6 years, but am now involved in a long running dispute to persuade them to honour our contract and replace my failed radiators. I have met with my local Trading standards (Warwickshire) a couple of times and they ve been a fantastic help to me. I now have every confidence that I can take on BG and win in court. However Trading Standards also said that if they received sufficien... Read the full review: British Gas homecare - Report your problem to Trading Standards by Jooooles100 |

Hopefully we will never have to claim as had no problems. But one fateful day at start of November I was washing up in kitchen and heared screams from mini terroist in lounge. My nearly 3 year old daughter had managed to pull £800 LCD tv off its stand. My first thourght is thank god shes not hurt, my second oh my god the tv! Keep calm it will be ok im sure it,s just fine pick it up off floor and put back on stand. To my total horror the tv screen was cracked in 3places, noise but just lines. British Gas HomeCare ... Gas HomeCare Agreement We took out a homecare agreement in July 2007 after purchasing a house where the previous owners looked like they d done a couple of bodge jobs. Luckily this paid off - and we more than got our moneys worth with our policy. The first time we called was because the central heating had packed up. They serviced the boiler and changed a few parts. Then we had a leaking sink. They arrived and tightened/replaced the washer (how embarrasing was that!) but explained the problem with the sink was its shape which allowed water which had sprayed at the back to fall straight onto the floor because of its arched design. The next was the light over... Read the full review: British Gas HomeCare - I pay c£48/per month but probably saved hundreds of £s by snootybutnice |

British Gas HomeCare ... Sir I recently cancelled my homecare agreement because despite repeated requests, two complaints and two recent visits by engineers, the engineers refused to carry out a proper service of the boiler. This was despite an assurance from customer services that a full service would be carried out. Records of the phone calls I have made with dates of visits and details of my complaints will be on your records. In my opinion you have broken your contract with me by the repeated refusal of your engineers to carry out the annual service. The First engineer to visit did not even remove the boiler casing or carry out any flue gas analysis. The second engineer failed to clean ...
