AA Insurance Services Reviews
Newest Review: ... at the renewal paperwork today and thought it looked expensive. Decided to go onto compare the market website and AA quoted identical cover for £160, that's a saving of nearly £500 between a new and an existing customer. Phoned them as very unhappy to say the least. Operator couldn't explain it and told me the only thing he could do was waive any cancellation charges and that I would have to re-apply online to get the cheaper quote. Seriously? This kind of profiteering from loyal but time pressed customers makes me sick. I have multiple policies with them and spend well over a thousand pounds a year with them. They just lost my busin... more

Renewed buildings insurance in June 2013 with AA having been a customer for 5 years. Was busy at the time so accepted buildings quote of £650. What a mistake. I am writing this on behalf of my neighbor .My neighbour is 76 yrs of age and has had home insurance with the AA for 25 yrs or more and has never made a claim, even when she could have .On the 3rd February we had unusually high winds in our area ( Gale Force ) ,which resulted in the felt covering on my neighbors garage roof being lifted away from the roof boards, front to back. A claim was made by myself on behalf of my neighbour, photos of the roof damage and estimates provided. We are now towards the later end of February and no closer to getting the claim resolved why?. It's virtually impossible trying to get the loss adjuster to contact me all though in fairness i ... Read the complete review

They rely heavily on their old good reputation with the past generation. They offer some incentives and discounts to new members, but once you join them they don't value you anymore. Once you leave them they literally bombard you very aggressively with junk mail trying to convince you to join them again. Their prices nowadays are not the best. Always use 'compare the market' internet engines to shop around for all kind of insurance.

HiAXA Travel insurance was introduced to this insurer by the AA to insure my kids for a single trip of a lifetime. We were delayed 1 week in America due to the ash cloud from the volcano. Mine / my wife's policy have accepted the claim. AXA have not If this is their attitude I will avoid like the plague and at the same time advise other prospective clients to do the same. Will also think twice about the AA advice regarding insurers! This policy was also extremely expensive when compared to our annual insurance!

I was a member of AAA in the USA, so living back in England, I became a member of the sister company AA. It was money well spent. As a female driver who knows NOTHING (nor cares to, really) this is a MUST! In my first year of membership, I had to call them out twice - not a problem. The second time was sheer stupidity on my part, but the guy still treated me courteously and tried hard not to make me feel like a fool. It is as much a necessity on long road trips, as is a mobile phone. All you have to do is call and they are out within about 45 minutes. They'll fix your car at the roadside if they can, if not they'll tow it for you and give you a ride wherever you ... Read the complete review
