AA offer one of the best car insurance policies around to date.

I done a quote online with the AA @ www.aa.co.uk The price I thought was good so I thought I would contact them via the telephone to confirm and get more details on the policy benefits.

Here is what I found out, The benefits below are standard to a fully comp policy.

Legal cover you will get £50k worth of legal cover on your policy, This will allow you to reclaim any out of pocket losses after a accident.

Courtesy Car: This is guaranteed until the claim (accident) is settled, There is no extra charge for this either.

Theft: If your car is stolen you will receive a hired car until settled again. This is superb

Glass Cover: There standard excess is £50.00 however this does not cover a glass sunroof should you have one.

Foreign Travel: Included in the price 90days

Personal Accident cover: £5000 max per person, this will increase to £7500 if AA breakdown member.

Lock Replacement cover: Not offered by AA

Medical Expenses: £300 per person, If AA member then £400

Stereo Cover, This was unlimted if standard stereo in car, If you have changed stereo then the max they will cover is £350

Personal Effects cover: £150 if AA member then £200 This covers all you personal effects in the event of theft ie glasses, mobile etc

Charges that may apply to me in the event of any changes or cancellation:

If i cancel then I would be charged pro-rata plus £25.00

If I change anything they will make a admin charge of £25.00, Ie, Change address, Change car, Notify of new job. So you need new docs you will need to pay £25.00

Apr for paying by monthly installments is 24.9%

They do offer the best benefits out of every insurer I called this year, So why am I not insured with them: My reason is they wont allow me to drive any other car on a third party
