Newest Review: ... be saving money. It is ony because I have had the mssfortune to have made claims that I was forced to look else where, and found the big savings. My previous payments were roughly about £26.00 per month and a £50.00 Excess, which I guess is pretty standard to pay. However after having to make some claims my insurance premium shot up to £37.00 per month, not only that but the excess went up to a massive £500.00. I expected the premiums to go up but the excess was a no no. After shopping around I managed to find an insurance company that insured me for all the same cover at a premium of £25.00-£26.00 per month and a £50.00 excess. ... more

Like most home owners I tied my buildings and contents insurance in with the mortgage, only to find out among thousands of others that it is cheaper by finding one of your own. It is so eay to do. When you first apply for your mortgage and get your first home you are so cought up with things that you din't think of ways you could really be saving money.
