ABSOLUTELY APPALLING - DO NOT PURCHASE THIS "SERVICE"!
We purchased the British Gas homecare agreement this summer and were initially impressed with the timely arrival of the engineer to conduct the boiler review. However, our boiler broke down on 11 October and we are still (nearly 3 weeks later) without hot water. We have had 6 visits from the British Gas engineers, all of which, without fail, have turned up well outside the end of the timeslot we were given. The problem has still not been diagnosed and despite filing an official complaint over a week ago no one from their customer services team has called me back to establish what the problem is. I urge anyone considering entering into this agreement to think twice.
