Disadvantages: Unwilling/unable to carry out a proper annual boiler service

Dear Sir

I recently cancelled my homecare agreement because despite repeated requests, two complaints and two recent visits by engineers, the engineers refused to carry out a proper service of the boiler. This was despite an assurance from customer services that a full service would be carried out.
Records of the phone calls I have made with dates of visits and details of my complaints will be on your records.
In my opinion you have broken your contract with me by the repeated refusal of your engineers to carry out the annual service. The First engineer to visit did not even remove the boiler casing or carry out any flue gas analysis. The second engineer failed to clean out the combustion chamber or the condensate trap both of which are key requirements for an annual service.
I have received an invoice from you dated for £84.49, which I will pay when all my monthly payments to you have been returned.
I enclose copies of the agreement where there are several references to the annual service of the boiler clearly stated. I am considering referring this to Ealing Trading Standards and will not agree to settle the invoice until my complaints have been fully addressed.
