I had this Homecare 400 also and the very first guy that came round insisted that i buy a powerflush to get one of my radiators heating at the top. Few days later my uncle told me to top up the pressure in my system which i did and hey presto radiator working great! They are as bad as the rest of the companies out there. A few months ago i went into bmw to get my temp gauge and fuel gauge sorted as they were not working. Told i needed a part from germany at 170 pounds and a 2 hour job at around another 80 pounds(all in it was something like 300). I phoned a local mechanic and he said i had that problem before can you go into you fuse box and change the fuse. I did that and guess what the fuse had blown!!!!!! cost me just over a pound for a pack of fuses and still working to this day (4 years ago that happened). So much lies from all the big garages it really is a disgrace and for that i have never went to a bmw garage since!!!!
