Dont touch them with a barge pole! Central heating and hot water system fail on 25.01.11 - engineer visits on 26.01.11 (pretty good service till this point), engineer checks boiler and pump and diagnoses no fault with either, needs powerflush as he suspects blockage in pipes - quoted £860 despite being on their homecare plan. Its only when I provide the bill for a powerflush four years previous with "lifetime guarantee" that they back down and agree to this powerflush within the terms of the homecare agreement. They then say they can't attend to complete the powerflush until 04.02.11 - a wait of 10 days (in Jan - coldest month of the year?) with NO hot water and NO heating. I've made 7 phone calls in total to BG in an attempt to get the poweflush bought forward - NOT ONE CALL RETURNED. Constant promised call backs, calls escalated to the team manager and customer relations and NOT ONE PERSON AT BG has the decency to call back - an appaling way to treat your customers and run a business BG!

Please give carefulconsideration before you sign up to BG homecare - look around elsewhere or even consider saving the money and appointing a local fitter if you do have a problem.

It irks me to have to give them one star - but it appears thats the minimum required to post a review! If Ihad my way it would be ZERO stars.
