Newest Review: ... year! After shopping around I found CIS, who quoted me only £330. I needed a few specific details, and I think that this one is key for younger drivers. They allow you to drive any other car third party, providing you dont own the vehicle, which for me is fantastic. Quinn allowed me to do this but I had not found another company who would, but CIS were by far the cheapest and also allowed this, which was great! These guy's house insurance came out cheapest by far for me (not much value in a 1 bedroom flat - 68 quid). I also insured my mobile on the policy for only 26 quid for the year, much cheaper than insurance from mobile phone companies. A guy comes round to your house to do the policy. They've also been consistently the cheapest for 5 or 6 years on my fiesta. My recent annual insurace was 200 quid vs 360 quid quote from elephant.co.uk. You get 45% intoductory no claims if you don't have any, and 10% off if you have house insurance as well. A guy comes round to your house to do the policy. I first used Co-operative Insurance (which may be in the phone book as CIS insurance) about 7 years ago. I wanted contents cover, but I also had a couple of bicycles which were each worth £600-700. CIS covered these for another £10 or so without batting an eyelid, whilst a lot of companies would put a £250 limit on each one. I'm still with them. Each year I try getting different a few different quotes, but the renewal fee from CIS has always stayed the within a couple of pounds of being the cheapest . I now pay a bit under £200 a year for £40k contents cover, including all risk as well as £70k of buildings cover. I live in a fairly low risk area, but ...  Read the complete review
