Co-operative Insurance

These guy's house insurance came out cheapest by far for me (not much value in a 1 bedroom flat - 68 quid). I also insured my mobile on the policy for only 26 quid for the year, much cheaper than insurance from mobile phone companies. A guy comes round to your house to do the policy. They've also been consistently the cheapest for 5 or 6 years on my fiesta. My recent annual insurace was 200 quid vs 360 quid quote from elephant.co.uk. I first used Co-operative Insurance (which may be in the phone book as CIS insurance) about 7 years ago. I wanted contents cover, but I also had a couple of bicycles which were each worth £600-700. CIS covered these for another £10 or so without batting an eyelid, whilst a lot of companies would put a £250 limit on each one. I'm still with them. Each year I try getting different a few different quotes, but the renewal fee from CIS has always stayed the within a couple of pounds of being the cheapest .
