I have used Endsleigh for about 2 years now. I have a student posessions insurance policy, and also accidental damage. I also have my phone insured with them. All this costs £100 a year. My policy is great as it includes things such as if I am burgled and there is no sign of forced entry, ie someone leaving a door or window open and the burglar ... Read the complete review

Last year I took out car insurance with Endsleigh for the first time; it wasn't the cheapest but I thought it would be OK, and I do work for a university. Last weekend (Saturday night) my car's rear window was broken by vandals. Endsleigh's agents didn't have the right glass, it was about to rain and the car was insecure. So I rang the only other Endsleigh number I had (claims line) to find out what I should do to stop any further loss (and claim). As soon as I mentioned 'glass' they refused to talk to me, telling me it was the glass company's problem (they'd already said they couldn't help). I submitted an emailed complaint, but total silence so far. Oh yes, and it's Wednesday and the car still isn't fixed. I will never use Endsleigh again.

Last year I took out rented contents insurance with Endsleigh, and my quote for £5,000 came to around £125. This year, when it came to time to renew my insurance, I phoned the nearest branch (Lewisham) to discuss the cost, and was quoted £118. I did not renew at that time, but called back a few weeks later (once I'd been paid!) to renew, and was ... Read the complete review

There are lots of things to consider when choosing insurance, not least what it costs and what you get for your money. Luckily, I have never had to be the one responsible for home insurance, having been covered by parental or company insurance in most places I have lived. However, since September this year I have been fighting a battle with ... Read the complete review

Have been using Endsleigh for many years in various properties in London and Glasgow; no problems but steadily increasing premia. No claims. Went to Endsleigh looking for buildings and contents insurance on a house which I share with a lodger, who is a student. Quoted about £75 and then told me that nobody would insure you if you had a ... Read the complete review

Cat spewed in my video, washing machine flooded my utility and larder fridge toppled over (onto me!) which could have been a total disaster for me cost-wise but this contents policy really did prove to be worth its weight in gold and in my mind the best household contents cover I have ever taken out (and I admit to buying some less than good ones) ... Having moved into a new (rented) flat, I needed to organise my contents insurance. So, I duly went online and got a number of instant quotes, all of which seemed fairly reasonable. Undecided about which to take up, I thought I'd mull it over for a while. However, on arriving home I received a phonecall the very same evening from ... Read the complete review

Endsleigh have taken quite alot of stick from many of my friends who seem to have had trouble getting claims through. I , however, have had the exact opposite experience and think they deserve a thumbs up. After several thefts I was more than a little worried when sending my claim form (which totalled about £600) in. After a week I rang ... Read the complete review

Endsleigh target themselves squarely at students. Which is not really surprising, as they are linked with the NUS. But I would advise anyone considering taking out insurance to get quotes from a range of other companies and comapre the prices, not to get pushed into taking out Endsleigh's insurance without checking. You may be surprised at the ... Read the complete review
