... never know how good an insurance company is until you make a claim. Well, a couple of weeks ago on a sat evening i was getting ready to go out when i noticed in the dining room a wet patch on the ceiling. On closer inspection ( by giving it a prod) i realised the ceiling was wet...it was that soft my finger went through the ceiling. have had my household insurance with Esure for the last year. (Both buildings and contents - you get an additional discount if you take the two together - 15% as far as i am aware). Like any insurance its a burden to pay and the majority of the time you never claim! This can be frustrating especially if your renewals go up. Fortunatly for me i recieved my renewal notice which is due on the 25th Feb 2006 and the premium has gone down!! Yay!! I called Esure and discussed the fact that i felt i was insuring my buildings for too much money, they were really helpful and told me which documents i need to look at to get the correct re build cost.
