Sainsbury's Bank Insurance

We had Sainsbury's home insurance last year as they were the most competitive for our needs and overall I can say that the service we received was ok. We had to make a claim a few months ago for a new stair carpet as our dog destroyed it!. I had checked our policy and was pleased to see that we had pet cover for damage so I made the claim. The adviser on the phone basically told me that we could claim 'on this occasion' but they would not cover us if it happened again. I have had my Buildings and Contents Insurance with Sainsbury's bank for over 2 years now. They always offer me by far the cheapest quote very year, and I should know as I am always looking to save money! This year I have contacted 64 insurance companies and brokers on the internet and by phone and they were all more expensive than Sainsbury's Bank and I have made a claim in the last 12 months as well.
