Rosie78 Worlds Apart Disney Princess Go Glow Light: ... have 2 World s Apart Go Glow Lights, one of the Disney Princess variety and also one with a Cars design. They are available for about £20, although you can usually get a better deal than that if you hunt around. The lights come with a variety of different designs and characters, so you should be able to find one to suit your little one whatever they are into. I first bought one of these for my daughter aged about...

scottishmummy Moon Jar - Solar Powered Jar
... had been looking to buy a sun jar but the moon jar was half the price so I thought I would give it a go. It is a solid, weighty glass mason jar, slightly opaque. The solar cell sits just inside the lid and has an on off button for if you decide you don t want to use it every night. Being a mason jar it is waterproof so can be left outside, great if you forget to bring it in after charging especially in Scottish weather. Once charged the blue glow that it gives off is just enough light to read by if it is immediatly next to you. If you like it dark while you sleep then this probably gives off too much light to be in the same room as you. We use it in the hallwa...

GizmoPig Ikea Grono Lamp
... have these as our bedside lamps. They give off a really nice glow when on that looks much nicer than having the main bedroom light on and really softens the room. They also have a generous length of cord with the on/off switch wired into it so that it is easy to position it where you need it. Mine fits perfectly in the space between the bed and the bedside cabinet but it could also be saddle-mounted onto the wall. The lamp sits on a flat surface really well thanks to a small cut out at the base of the glass cover. Simple idea but I think it s a really nicely finished product. Very simple design and will go with anything. Changing the bulb is also easy even with the gl...

eilidhcatriona Argos Value Floor Standing Uplighter
... is another one of my recent Argos purchases. The lamp is available on its own or in a twin pack. The single lamp costs £4.89 and the twin pack £9.29. I went for the twin pack - to be honest I didn t really need two lamps, but for that price I couldn t resist! Having reserved it online, I went to collect the lamps from Argos. I was a little concerned about how they would be packaged and how I would manage on the bus, but I had nothing to worry about. The lamps are packed in a neat little box which fit easily into an Argos carrier bag and was no problem to carry home. When I unpacked the box, as expected from the size the lamps were in a number of pieces. There were ...
