A nice decoration for your living space!

When it came to moving into my new flat I started off of course by getting all the essentials that I needed. However after a few weeks I decided that my flat looked naked and with no personality to it at all. I had empty corners and no real colour-scheme going on and so out came the Argos catalogue. I spotted these branch lights costing usually £14.99 a set reduced to £5.99 and in colours pink and duck egg blue and so I went for the girly pink one's in the end.

They came in a white box with a photograph of the branch lights on it and contact details for Argos were given. Then you pull out the branches from within the box and they come in a see-through plastic bag.

The first thing I didn't realise is that they didn't come in the vase they were shown in. I can't remember if it stated that in the catalogue or not but basically I was left with 5 long brown branches with a brown matching wire travelling up each going to a brown coloured plug socket and nothing to put them into...I soon rectified that mind and rushed out and got myself a long, wide clear glass vase!

All you do is simply arrange these in a vase. There are six material flowers on 5 branches with a little clear light bulb within each one and then each branch has extra bits of thin branch coming out of them giving them a wispy effect. Then you simply plug them in.

These are meant of course for decorative purposes only and not really for giving off a strong light. I found mine to look really pretty but a bit plain on their own and so to hide the very long wire that I shoved into the vase (it really is a long cable) I did go to a shop and buy decorative branches for a couple of quid.

All in all I like these. The material that makes the flowers is a bold bright pink with a shimmer to them and of good size, the bulbs are easy to twist off and change (if need be) and they are sturdy. To clean them I simply waft a clean duster at that them and all in all I think these are a rather pretty, feminine edition to any room....especially at the moment as they are reduced!

      Only available in Argos stores.
