Advantages: Very easy to put together, looks stylish and cheap as chips!

Disadvantages: none that I have found

I have had one of these lights for years and although I can't remember what I paid for it I can tell you that it has never let me down.

It was very easy to screw together. It came in sections and I just had to feed the wire through and then screw the rods together. The shade fitted onto the metal stand very easily and just like you would fix a lampshade to a ceiling pendant.

I have my lamp behind the tv and with a 40 watt bulb it gives off a lovely glow and I don't have to put the "big" light on because I can see to read just fine with that amount of light. I have an energy saving bulb in mine and haven't had to change it yet!

I find that it is very stylish even though it is cheap and I have teamed mine with some frosted glass ceiling shades. I think it looks agood and it certainy doesn't look cheap, or that you would have paid just £5 for it.

All in all it is a great lamp and for the price you really can't grunble!
