A lovely, elegant lamp for any room

With my flat being just the way I wanted it to look I couldn't work out for ages what was missing. I sat and pondered for ages with my flatmate telling me I was going made (lol) and then I realised that although I had a lamp in my living room I still had a table that needed something on it to sort of finish it off. When I was browsing around Dunhelm recently and spotted this gorgeous lamp costing a mere £14.99 I snapped it up not believing my luck of the price of it!

The lamp didn't come boxed. I don't know if it was meant to but it was already, ready to go apart from the fact it had no light-bulb in it!

The lamp measures Total H 47cm (19"), Base 13cm x 13cm (5" x 5"), Shade Dia. 17cm (7") x H 15cm (6") and only comes in one colour option which is chrome (silver) and ivory. The silver base is round, goes quite tall and slim and it has a round piece of glass to the bottom of it then just below the shade 3 diamond sort of shaped pieces of see-through glass and then of course the lamp shade sits to the top of it which is flocked, shiny and sort of two toned white ivory colour which is floral sort of patterned. It has a reasonably long lead on it and a switch on/off switch on the lead and towards the top of it for ease of switching the light on and off. This takes 60 Watt SES or 11 Watt energy saver candle bulbs and its wipe clean so easy to care for.

This looks stunning and I like the simplicity and elegance of it and also the neutral coloured shade. The droplets I was worried about appearing cheap, don't at all and the whole thing looks lovely quality and is finished off really nicely.

I don't regret buying this lamp, I've had many comments about it as it looks so expensive and people can't believe it when I reveal how little it cost me! Neither can I actually lol.
