I loved playboy from being a teenager and everyone in my family knew about it from the amount of pink and playboy there was in my bedroom. I was brought this a few years ago from my auntie and although i have since dwindled the playboy stuff down in my house i didnt want to upset my auntie by telling her i was a little old for it.

I did take it out of the box and try it though to see if it was ideal as a light for reading but the shapes it made on the walls by the silver bunnies made my eyes go funny. My daughter however loved it. She is only 3 but the light was perfect for a night light for her and she loved the shapes made by the bunnies. Her favourite colour is pink so it fitted well in her room.

The problem i had with this product though was that the glitter lamp itself was very loose ontop of the silver stand and if it was knocked just ever so slightly it fell out. secondly the cord wasnt very long at all so for us to have it in my daughters room we had to have it up high but also we had an extra plug socket placed in her room to so it would reach without her being able to touch it and pull it off.

The light in the bottom is very common and you can pick them up from practically anywhere for next to nothing. I have seen 2 different colours to this glittler lamp too, there is the pink glitter lamp with the silver stand and a pink glitter lamp with a pink lamp which my daughter has got.
it also has a switch on the cord too so you can switch it off without having to turn the plug on and off but i always switch off the plug so i have no use for this really.

I think this is a lovely lamp but truthfully it is aimed at the teenage market rather than adults but like i say my 3 year old loves it beause it is just the right amount of brightness for her bedroom at night so she can see that there is no monsters in her room. Every girly girl would love this in her room and if she is a playboy addict then this would be perfect
