the matrix cooker hood has a nice modern look, it looks stylish with the stainless steel and glass finish, and aesthetically it is very pleasing. it certainly looks just as good, if not better, than more expensive cooker hoods. it looks like it costs much more than it does (around the £100 mark from various online retailers).
it was very easy to install and comes with the mounting screws, although i have read of some people not having these included with their extractor so make sure you check before starting!
the switches are nice and handy, mounted at the front. the 2 lights are also very handy as they illuminate the cooker, sometimes when cooking quick meals I just use these lights rather than the kitchen spotlights.
one thing I will point out however is that the curved design of it means it does collect an awful lot of dust and needs wiping down regularly. it can be quite a pain to clean, especially with the stainless steel finish always looking streaky, but if you get some special cleaner it should make it a bit easier and quicker to do.
this extractor is a little bit noisy, but then im presuming most are and I haven't had many to compare it to. it isn't however too noisy that it becomes irritating, and it has 3 speeds of which the slowest is the quietest.
overall I would recommend this to anyone looking for a new cooker hood. it really does look stylish and ive had quite a few compliments on it, with people thinking it cost much more. it finishes my new modern kitchen off nicely.
