Hotel Riu Playacar (Playa del Carmen, Mexico):
... brilliant hotel with enough to keep anyone occupied for two weeks and in a great location for those who want to explore. Rooms: We were given a superdooper duluxe room which was like a mini apartment. With two large single beds, two TV s, shower, bath and double sink, it was certainly luxury. The rooms were cleaned daily with fresh towels if they were needed. The room had a balcony which was great for having frie... Amari Atrium Hotel Bangkok ... used this hotel a couple of times in 2007 when I was working in Thailand. If the thought of having to step out into the seedy underbelly of Bangkok s Sukhumvit Road every time you leave your hotel is too much for you or you would simply rather shield your you or your family s ears and eyes from the nocturnal misdemeanours of the famous strip s night-owls and party animals but still want to enjoy Thailand s capital based at a swanky 4 star hotel then the Amari Atrium might be the just the place for you. Located on Petchaburi Road a few blocks away from Sukhumvit, the heart of Bangkok s party scene, the Amari Atrium is slightly inconvenient unless of course you want to... Venetian Resort and Casino Las Vegas ... have never been to Venice before, but if this replica is indeed anything to go by i certainly wouldn t mind. The roof is painted like in a clear blue sky, the buildings and restaurant are exquisite and the whole place just looks so clean and fresh it could be CGI. I imagine the real Venice will be almost identical but just slightly more dirty, and without a few tacky fast food restaurants scattered here and there. The shops were catered for all sorts of people. Restaurants for the upper class, food stalls and fast food for the slightly lower, classy clothes venues next to the cheapy outlets. Winding it s way in between all these was the artificial river complete with Go... Read the full review: The Venetian Las Vegas by TheWeaver |

Crowne Plaza Manhattan New York ... Plaza, Times Square Manhattan My lovely boyfriend recently decided to whisk me away for four nights in New York. I ve always wanted to go (I m a die-hard Sex and the City fan which has probably got a lot to do with it!) and was literally counting down the days (and hours) from the second we booked the flights. We chose to stay in the Crown Plaza which is right in the middle of Times Square in Manhattan. Where is it? 1605 Broadway, Times Square, Manhattan. The hotel is right in the middle of Times Square, in the theatre district. It is surrounded by bars, restaurants and attractions. You literally walk out of your door and your right in the middle of all of ... Read the full review: New York, New York! by ice_pink |
