patsysmith Hotels in Calgary: ... review is mainly about one particular Calgary Hotel that is not separately listed. In early 2007 I was not too impressed to be travelling from UK to Calgary on business, but the Sheraton Cavalier in Calgary made the trip considerably more bearable than expected. I found Calgary cool and dirty, but on entering the Sheraton Cavalier I could forget all about it. The staff in the reception and foyer area were cou...

larsbaby GoldenTulip Keyser Breda
... Being back in Breda, South Netherlands, I find myself staying long term in a hotel, as for some reason my company is unable to secure an apartment. On this plus side, this gives me an ideal opportunity to review the hotel and maybe notice and thing or two that I wouldn t normally on a usual short term stay. What follows is the result of my experience so far. Bear in mind I ve been here for about 6 weeks, so no wonder I ve noticed so much! LOCATION The Keyser Hotel is located on Keizerstraat, which is fairly close to the centre of Breda. The hotel blurb claims that it s between Rotterdam and Antwerp, which is pretty accurate. It s about a ten minute walk to...

Richada Hotel Piast (Boleslawiec, Poland)
... DID WE BOOK THE HOTEL PIAST IN BOLESLAWIEC? Note: Piast is pronounced as it appears - Boleslawiec is pronounced Bolleswavietts. Here is an odd one; we have NEVER booked this particular hotel! For us it has always been used as an overnight stop between our home here in Brighton and my wife s family home near Mielec in Eastern Poland. The fact that we have never booked it may explain my main beef here now - although the previous Christmas we had a conversation with an American gentleman who had stayed many times previously and was complaining of being over-charged - he had paid cash in Euros, we use a MasterCard and pay in local currency - the zloty. Assuming that w...

lobourse Center Parc Longleat Forest
... Parcs ==== CENTER PARCS - BENELUX OR UK? ==== We have been to three different Center Parcs in Belgium and the Netherlands, and it is now established as a regular half-term option for us and our three children. This year, Flemish half-term was a week earlier than the main UK one, and the prices reflected this. Faced with Euro620 for a midweek stay in Belgium, I checked the prices for the UK. Up till now, I d imagined the prices in the UK prohibitive, although I expected that facilities would be a notch above what we d experienced before. In fact, for the week we wanted to go, a Comfort Plus 3 cottage at Longleat Forest was £315 plus a £6 booking fee for a Mond...
