Ramada Hotel in General ... are a large hotel franchise organisation. they have many Ramada Hotels in North America and across the world. In England they are called Ramada Jarvis. They are part of a very large conglomerate called Wyndham Worldwide who also own Travelodge, Amerihost, Super 8 and Days Inn among others. The Ramada brand offers a good standard of hotel on the whole; only some are excellent though their quality control is usually good enough to expect at least a reasonable standard; beds are always clean (in my experience) rooms pleasant and bathrooms modern. Coconut Beach Club Hotel (Antigua) ... m not a massively well travelled individual, in fact I ve only been outside of Europe on one occasion, and that was when my wife and I went to Antigua in October 2006. We stayed at the Coconut Beach Club, and thought the place was brilliant. If you re looking for a quiet place to relax and do very little, at the best price in Antigua, this is the hotel for you. The hotel is located beside Yepton Beach on the west of the island, about 20 minute s taxi from the airport in St John s (the capital of Antigua). Our package deal was with Virgin Holidays so transfers to, and from the airport were included in the price. One thing to look out for at the airport is the redcaps .... Hilton Vilamoura As Cascatas Golf Resort and Spa (henceforth to be referred to more simply as the Hilton Vilamoura) is an enigma of a hotel - it s a five star resort with beautiful interiors but one that looks from the outside like it was designed by Disney. It s absolutely not the type of place that I d ever choose to stay in because I just don t do holidays in this sort of destination and it s not the type of place you d usually go to for business - for one thing there s nothing around here to do business with.
