Auditorium Madrid Hotel ... and various members of my friends and family have stayed here several times as it is within walking distance of my Dad s house and sometimes there are too many people for him to put up. Location They run free half hour shuttle buses to the airport which is great. It is only about 5-10 minutes from the main Madrid airport. It is not so easy to get into the centre of Madrid by public transport from there though - you need to take a 10 minute walk to the 77 bus then go to the nearest metro at Canillejas then take the metro to where ever you want to go. This would take an hour or more, say to get to the Prado or Puerta del Sol or similar. A taxi would be about 20 mins tho... Read the full review: Excellent airport hotel by whatanoldbag |

Hotel Strasser (Graz, Austria) ... task to make into a home our new flat in Maribor, Slovenia continues but not with the pace we had hoped for. Having ordered various pieces of furniture we were left with a weeks wait for them to arrive from the store in the capital - by what means they were making the two hour journey take so long I m not sure! We decided on a couple of days in Graz to occupy some of that time and arrived in Austria s second city without having booked accommodation in advance. Fortunately there is a small tourist information office in the booking office at Graz Hauptbahnhof (Central railway station) where the staff can help with accommodation enquiries. Sunrise Monica Beach Hotel (Fuerteventura) ... this hotel is perfect for those either looking for a relaxing sunbathing week or two and for those with younger children. The hotel felt safe and had lots going on to keep children entertained including a kids show in the evening and then adult shows after so something for everyone. The hotel s animation team as they were called, were excellent and they also spoke a multitude of languages. Food was excellent and rooms were just the right size. I would go back to this hotel in an instant!
