... stayed at this hotel few months ago and would definitely recommend it for a short stay in Barcelona. It has a central location in a safe area, near many shops and restaurants. We took the bus from the main airport which drops you off at Plaza Catalunya, and then two stops on the metro to Diagonal station. Panorama ApartHotel (Tenerife) ... wife and I love going on holiday and Tenerife is undoubtedly one of our favourite destinations. We ve been there 6 times in the last 5 years and for 3 out of the last 4 visits, we ve stayed at the Panorama ApartHotel, which sits just between Playa de las Americas and Costa Adeje. Now, I ll be honest right from the start - the Panorama isn t the best hotel in the world, far from it. It s only a 3-star and it lacks air conditioning. So why do we go there so much? 2 reasons really: location and price. The Hotel was opened in May 2004 and is the seventh Disney Vacation Club resort. The hotel is on the former site of the Disney Institute which was moved to another location so the hotel could be built. It is styled to look like an 1880 s Victorian, upstate New York lakeside retreat and is the largest Disney Vacation Club resort ever made. Rossija Hotel Moscow ... have very pleasant memories of a 4-day stay in the Hotel Rossiya in Moscow in 1998, whilst on a school history trip at the age of 15. As we drove towards the hotel on the coach, I was feeling groggy from the travel sickness pills I d taken for the plane, missing home & wondering why I d ever wanted to come to Russia in the first place, thinking it would be boring and I d hate it. As we approached the hotel, I pulled back the curtain on the coach window & looked out to see St Basil s Cathedral rising magnificently in front of my eyes.
