... has got to be the best holiday I ve ever had!!! The staff was very friendly and will do anythinhg you ask of them. I can t really complain about anything neither as the food and drink was amazing with a wide choice of foods from chips to lobster and coke to spirts and there local beer to choose from. Condado Hotel Barcelona ... stayed at this hotel few months ago and would definitely recommend it for a short stay in Barcelona. It has a central location in a safe area, near many shops and restaurants. We took the bus from the main airport which drops you off at Plaza Catalunya, and then two stops on the metro to Diagonal station. From there it s a 5 minute walk, or you can jump on the bus for a couple of stops down the street. Our room was facing the inner courtyard so we didn t get much noise from the traffic outside. There are a few night clubs across the street but again this didn t bother us. We stayed in a standard twin room, which is a bit on the small side, but it was a clean and co... Hotel Movenpick Resort (Petra, Jordan) ... Mövenpick hotel Petra. Part of our itinerary included a visit to Petra but we were supposed to return to Aqaba the same day but we knew that one day would not be enough and thought about spending the night in Petra so that we could visit little Petra the following day. When we spoke of our intentions to others they have never heard of Little Petra. The hotel in Aqaba arranged a special rate for us to stay there overnight. After our visit to Petra we collected our overnight bags from the coach and watched the bus go. The Mövenpick is right near the entrance to Petra so we walked over to it. Hotel Agapinor (Paphos, Cyprus) ... stayed in Agapinor Hotel in Cyprus for 1 week during September 2009, which we booked through an online agent for £420 each half board. CHECKING IN THE HOTEL: After a long day travelling to get to Cyprus, it was lovely to be able to check in to our room quickly and smoothly! Check in is from 2pm, although we checked into our room at 1pm as we were early and the room was ready (lucky us!). During check in, the helpful staff gave us a sheet of paper detailing the meal times as we were half board, as well as the opening times of the hotel café, bar and swimming pool.
