... Very good. Located on the strip, it is within walking distance of a lot of other hotels/ casinos. However it is towards the end of the strip, so is not the most centrally located hotel. Rooms: Very spacious. Two double beds come as standard. Fantastic views - the strip from the front, the golf course from the back. Bathrooms: The bathrooms are huge, and contain both a shower cubicle and a large bath. There are also two basins, with plenty of towels and complementary toiletries. ... stayed here on the basis of it being a 5* hotel. I d previously spent a week at their sister hotel Hatta Fort near the mountain range on the Omani border, a supposed 4* hotel, but had I not known the ratings I would have swapped those ratings round without a thought. Jebel Ali s reception was large and welcoming, with friendly staff to carry your bags and a helpful young lady at the reception. We d booked into a ground floor room and without trying to sound snobby, which I m not, the room was worse than a 3* room. ... was our first visit to Lanzarote and after being delayed for 5 hours at Gatwick, my partner and I arrived at the Princess Yaiza Hotel at around midnight. We were met by the concierge and offered a glass of champagne while we checked in at reception. We were greeted by a lovely receptionist who told us that we had been upgraded to a junior suite! Check-in only took about 10 minutes and our cases were taken to our room. The room was huge with a bath/shower room, dining area, sitting area, balcony, mini fridge and the biggest bed I have ever seen.
