We managed to get parked right outside our room and this made it very easy for us with our luggage, as of course we didn't want to leave anything in the car overnight. The parking is free at this hotel but it is not a secure ... more ... parking area so it was best to be on the safe side.

***Background*** We had just finished touring the Grand Canyon and had mapped out our route to take us to Palm Springs but realised that we would have to find somewhere to stay for the night before heading all that way. We wanted to settle in somewhere before 6pm and calculated that Kingman would be a good place to find a bed for the night. Leaving the Canyon down Route 180 takes you down to Williams and then you head on west along Route 40 past Seligman. The signs are good and the road is pretty straight so we arrived in good time.
