Hotels in Cape Verde:
... was a 21st birthday present from my boyfriend, a 1 week all inclusive holiday at Riu Karamboa in Cape Verde on the Boa Vista island. I cannot fault the hotel it was perfect! It had only recently opened (we stayed in march 2009) so the furnishings were perfect. We had a ground floor room with a separate living room and bedroom, they were both big rooms with plenty of room, there was a fridge in the living room ... Jolie Ville Luxor Resort ... Ville Luxor My other half and I stayed at the Jolie Ville the second half of our trip to Egypt in January 2009. The overall holiday was wonderful and has been a highlight of my life - I got engaged while we were here! The Hotel itself: Jolie Ville has recently changed ownership to Maritim from Moevenpick. The hotel is located along the Nile on the outskirts of the city of Luxor. It is on its own island known locally as Crocodile Island. It has excellent security - the hotel has it s own security barrier to get on and off the island (the Egyptian s value the tourist industry and have a very pro-active attitude to security). The hotel has two pools - an adults-only p... Read the full review: Getway and relax in Luxor by Ducky78 |

Windsor Hotel Cairo (Eygpt) ... the Windsor Hotel may have been long surpassed by luxurious 5 star hotels along the Nile, it s still pretty classy as far as downtown establishments go. It looks nothing special from the outside, a maroony brown grey block on a side street, seconds away from busy Talaat Harb and also close to Ezbekiyya Gardens. The Windsor Hotel has a sort of colonial feel to it which give away it s history, the place was built in the early 20th century as baths for the Egyptian Royal Family but it then became a gentlemans club for British officers. These days there are relics of its past and the plush yet aged floorboards and sofas give off an aura of being in an old-fashioned f... Moevenpick Resort Cairo Pyramids ... stayed at the Movenpick Resort in June 2009 for 3 nights and very much enjoyed it. I was slightly concerned when we first arrived as we seemed to be quite long way out of Cairo city centre, and I was worried it could get expensive going in and out to the city. However, being further away from Cairo man we were much closer to the pyramids, which was our first port of call on the trip. It only took about 10 minutes in a taxi to get there, and the taxis were so cheap we had a driver take us there and drive us around and back again for the whole morning for around £6. The hotel itself was very nice, it s a series of bungalows around a garden like area where there were... Read the full review: Review of Movenpick Pyramids Resort Cairo by catherine21 |
