I recently reviewed the small town of Edolo in northern Italy, directly north of Brescia in the High Camonica Valley, minutes away from various ski resorts. I turned up at Albergo Angelo relatively late, something like 10pm but in the middle of winter during the holidays and the town was dead. At the top of the town lies a square with two little bridges crossing a river, there's a cobbled courtyard and a hotel on either side of a pedestrian bridge, Alberto Angelo is on the nearest side if you've walked up from the train station.
