We have been to the Allegro five times, each time for a week, and have always had a wonderful time. Yes, there are things that are not perfect. This is a tropical island, not downtown Miami. There are bugs and lizards. There are also amazingly beautiful sunsets, bright flowers, beautiful birds, warm wonderful people and plants not found at home in Pennsylvania. Certain times of the year, mostly the fall, there is a possibility of the trip being interrupted by storms in the gulf and mosquitoes can be a real bother in October. To compensate there is fresh, caught this morning, lobster, eaten on a warm sunny beach under a cover of thatch roof with the fresh ocean breezes ... Read the complete review

MOLD, MUST and ANTS at the Allegro Cozumel We checked into our thatch roofed building room (3603) was which smelt musty and had mold stains on the walls.
