Apart hotels, residence services or flats are terms used locally to define an all-suite hotel. These are properties with fully furnished apartments complete with a living-dining room, kitchen, one or more bedrooms, bathroom, and daily maid service. Breakfast and one parking spot are usually included in the package.
There are sophisticated versions offering swimming pools, sauna or steam room, squash court, gym, and even a view to the beach. Others offer more basic facilities and services at reasonable rates. Most of these properties have permanent residents. While some are only available for long-term rentals, meaning a period from one to three years, many offer their units on a daily basis. They are a wonderful lodging alternative, especially if you prefer to feel at home even when you are traveling.
There are possibilities for all budgets, with rates for double occupancy starting at about US$70 per night and up.
