One of the best hotels (Arts Barcelona)

The Hotel Arts is one of the 5 stars Hotels in Barcelona and surely one which you will remember, if you sleep there.

Let me tell you that it is very expensive. We spent a weekend with my boyfriend and we managed to have a "bargain" at 220 Euros per night without breakfast.

I knew from my previous flatmate that this Hotel is top star for service and we decided to go for a splurge.

Location wise, you may like it or not. In summer I think that it is a hit, since the Hotel is in the area called Port Olimpic, which is just at the end (or beginning) of the beach area in Barcelona. We went in March and still, in the night the area is a place you may end up to anyway if you are in Barcelona, since there are plenty or restaurants and bars.

Anyway, back to the Hotel. Service is really what differentiate this Hotel. They are very attentive and by the time we arrived downstairs, we were greated by friendly staff. We had to wait for the couple in front of us at the check in, but we did not mind, since the lounge is already something to watch, for its modern style and decor.

After check in they escorted us to the room, which has a huge bed (I love it!) and was large enouogh for my likes and had great views on the sea.

The toiletries in the bathroom was from Aqua di Parma, which I adore, I would go back to the Hotel only for that!

They serve one of the largest breakfast I have ever had. It is a buffet, and although it cost 35 Euros, you will not need lunch for sure!

There is a nice swimming pool, when we visited we were not very lucky with the weather, but I know that in summer it is a hit, and there is also a very famous restaurant from Arola, which I did not visit.

The gym downstairs is well equipped and has got windows on the street, which means you can watch people pass by, which I found pleasant.

As I said, it can be expensive, but it surely one of the best Hotels I have been in my life!
